Coloring Down the Lines-Raspberry Ripple

Happy Wednesday, everyone and welcome to our blog hop, coloring down the lines.  You have arrived from amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com where I am sure was a very inspiring card.  She does such nice work, doesn't she?  Our color this week was Raspberry Ripple, and I paired it with the Old Olive and Pretty in Pink (the creative combo). I used my raspberry ripple ribbon and the new sale-a-bration set (madison ave.) with the heart from the the hearts a flutter.   And I also used for my background the emboss folder "vine street."  Hope you like it, I do.  I've made quite a few for church people for cheering up this Valentines Day.  Now go to our very own Helen's blog at www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  She will dazzle us too!  Always has something I love.  Thanks for visiting...Carol Smith  Happy blogging!!

Coloring down the Lines - Primrose Petals

Hello again, ladies! You have just come from Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. I know she has a beautiful card for us, as she always does, so talented, that girl. This week we used Primrose Petals with either summer starfruitand basic gray OR primrose petals, S Saffron and Baja Breeze. I chose the second combo, and this is what came from my desktop. I had to use roses, No pun intended, so I laid everything out that was feminine, and I think it turned out pretty nice. Let me know. Now you can go directly to Helen's blog. She's a genius, for sure. I love her style. her address is www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Enjoy and thanks for visiting. Carol Smith

The salutation is embossed in pewter. Give your feedback, I can take it! Thanks for visiting...Carol Smith

Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge #71

I hope you are enjoying all the beautiful entries for this challenge. I just kept everything monochromatic and wanted something feminine, so this is what came together on my workspace! I just dry embossed the circles and added the doily behind it all for some pop, and used the little flower and LOVE ticket from the Artisan Embellishment Kit in the spring catty. How do you feel about this one? Thanks for visiting... Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines - Midnight Muse

div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It's Wednesday already! Where does the time go? You've just been at the beginning of our blog hop with Robbie.www.inkedx2.blogspot.com. She is the very gifted lady who decides our colors. This week she had us use Midnight Muse with More Mustard and Rich Razzleberry (which I chose) OR Midnight muse with Bashful Blue and Cherry Cobbler. I had some trouble thinking what I wanted to do with it, but I played with the new stamps I just received, and came up with the flowers of Secret garden and sale-a-bration stamps for my Hello. The buttons on the flowers were tied with jute(my upline would SKIN me if I didn't put a tie on my buttons)! I just pierced around the salutation and I was done. Hope you like it. Now it's time to see Helen's beautiful creation that she always has. Can't wait to see it myself! Her blog is www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Go and enjoy the rest of the hop. Red Hot Stampers Challenge #71

It's time for Red Hot Stampers' challengs again! I can't believe it. Anyway, this sketch was simple, but i had a hard time deciding what to do on it. I started laying new stuff out that matched and this is what I came up with. Just used the new DSP from Print Poetry tablet, and added matching colors on the Oh Hello stamp set. And the little HELLO is from the Sale-a-bration set "Pretty Petites. Hope you like it. Can't wait to see everyone else's! Thanks for visiting...Carol Smith

Sketch Frenzy Friday Challenge

Hello ladies- my apoogies for being non-technical. I probably won't get this right again for my blog address at www.carolscards-rchelix.blgospot.com/sketchfrenzyfriday, but I hope that you can see my card anyway. this week's sketch was very plain and simple, and I really like how it turned out. I kept every crisp and white except the new DSP in the background, and I had to add my bling and sparkle, as always. Let me know how it looks. I put crystals in the pattern on the dsp and tied a new tea time trinket on. It should cheer someone up. Thanks for visiting. Carol Smith

Red Hot Stampers - #70

Good Morning! I'm sorry for being late for my entry at Red Hot Stampers #70. This was a pretty hard challenge for me, but I have stuff laying on my desktop that was all silver and glittery, so this is what I made. I hope you like it. My butterflies are just Sizzix Beautiful Wings made with the glitter paper, and the stamp set used was Serene Silhouettes. My gray background was sprayed with champagne mist. It's so glittery and so me! The silhouette shows up silver, but it is really embossed in white. Thanks for visiting! Carol Smith

I needed a baby card, so I whipped this up for my gift. It reminds me of one of those onesie jammie sets! Hee HEE... I think it's pretty cute. I hope you enjoy it. Coloring Down the Lines-Red Hot Stampers #69

Happy New Year!  Welcome from Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.  Her creations are so beautiful and inspiring all the time.  This one is no different.  Our colors this week were wisteria wonder, lucky limeade, and elegant eggplant, which I chose to use instead of the other option.  I used the new sketch challenge #69 from Red Hot Stampers at www.redhotstampers.blogspot.com.  for my inspiration, when I saw this, I saw an exclamation mark and 3 pennants.  I simply used the pennant punches in wisteria and white cardstock and put an elegant eggplant ribbon under them. Then  added some  champagne mist over the entire card.  I hope you like this one.  Now go to Helen's blog at www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  Her card is again an awesome one, as she always gets me to cas her creations.  She's so imaginative.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith
