Coloring Down the Lines-Always Artichoke & River Rock

Hello, and welcome to our blog hop.  Robbie is our leader, and I know since you've come from her blog, you are already stoked. She is so talented, and her ideas always get me thinking... her blog is www.inkedx2.blogspot.com.  This week she wanted us to use always artichoke and river rock.  I must say, I think this is the first time I only used 2 colors without a neutral.  this one was pretty easy, considering only 2 colors.  So now lets go to Helen's site at www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  Her card is gorgeous, don't you think?  Always is!!!  Thanks for visiting, and have a great day!  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines-Cherry Cobbler and Riding Hood Red

Welcome from Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.  I know she made a beautiful card that I can't wait to see.  I did not know quite what to do with this color combination (cherrycobbler and riding hood red), so I am not quite sure how I feel about this one.  I like  to do the emboss resist, so I used the riding hood red for that, and it came out a little pale, but that's what it is.  the Rest is done with cherry cobbler.    Cant wait to go to Helens blog either, so let's go!  www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  Her blog is so much fun, so creative!  I hope you are enjoying your hop with us.  Why not join in the fun and create your own.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines-Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum

Whew!!  I almost forgor to post!!  I apologize if it messes up the line...  With that said, you should have come from Amandas  beautiful card at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.   I know it was fabulous!  Our colors are almost the same this week, just a subtle difference. They are elegant eggplant and perfect plum.  I LOVE purple, so rich.  My punch is a Martha Stewart one, and I used a retired poppy.  But it fit the bill.  I hope you like it.  Now lets go see what Helen made for us.  www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  I always can't wait to see what she does.   Enjoy and thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Coloring down the Lines-Bashful blue and Marina Mist

Hello and welcome to our color blog hop...  today's colors are bashful blue and marina mist...beautiful colors!  You've come from Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.  I'm sure her creation is awesome!  I saw something similar before, so mine is kind of cased, but a little tweaked.  My hummingbird didn't quite turn out, but I still like it.  I used the emboss resist technique, I love doing that one.  It always turns out gorgeous.  Lets go see what Helen made.  Her style is just what I wish I could do.  Her blog is www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  Come back next week for an even more beautiful color combination.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith
