Coloring Down the Lines - Pool Party "with circles"

Hello ladies!  I tried to load my card this morning, but it will not load onto my blog- hence no picture.  I even tried to email Robbie, but no luck, so I will just keep trying and give the necessary addresses.  You came here by Robbie's site at  Her little flowers are sooo cute.  And I know Helen made a gorgeous one for us to see out of the pool party selections: either with Crushed Curry and Old Olive OR Pool party with WildWasabi and Chocolate Chip.  Oh well, let's so see how she used hers.  I apologize again, and thanks for blogging through.  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines-Pink Pirouette with SPARKLE!

Welcome, 2014!  And I apologize for being late posting...I am thrown off kilter over these, off, work, off, you get it.  Anyway, you've come from Robbie's blog,  and I know her card is fabulous!  Not sure how I feel about mine, but it has sparkle.  We were to add that to our colors of pink pirouette, pool party and crumb cake, OR pink pirouette, sahara sand and always artichoke.  I chose the first one and just put a new year sentiment on with the grunge all over it in dazzling diamonds.  Hope you like it.  Let's see what Joni made for us this brand new year.  Can't wait to see.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith Happy New Year, everyone!

Coloring Down the Lines-Pear Pizazz with a twist of adding a star!

Merry Christmas everyone, and welcome to our blog hop today.  You've just come from Amanda's blog at  where I know she has a spectacular card for us to see.  A hard act to follow.  Our colors were Pear Pizazz with Rich Razzleberry and Tempting Turquoise OR Pear Pizazz with Pool Party and Smoky Slate. I chose the latter because of the subtlty.  I just embossed stars from "first Christmas" on my "tree of trees." and added some dazzling diamonds and candy dots in coordinating colors.  Hope  you enjoy it.  Oh, our added twist was to add a Star!  Whew!  almost forgot... I can't wait to see what Helen made us on this Christmas Day.  Always gorgeous, just like her!  Thanks for visiting, and remember that Christ is our greatest gift today and every day!  Carol Smith

"Card Book" -Melissa's card

Happy Friday to ya!  I had a friend who gave me this idea. She put all her cards that she received onto ring binders.  I vamped up this project with ribbon on the binders.  This card was made by my daughter.  So colorful, festive and sparkly!  I love it.  She takes after her mother for being so creative...(wink).  Go ahead and try this... it's fun, and it keeps the conversation going.  Just lay in on your coffee table, and enjoy.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Valerie's card

This is another one I got from Valerie, my son's girlfriend.  She's so sweet, and Crafty.  I love the softness and simplicity of this.  It is so elegant.  Love it.  My 2 favorite cards in the book, for sure.  Thanks for visiting, and I hope you are inspired to make your own card book.  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines-Marina Mist

I hope everyone is ready for the big day!  I am, still have to finish wrapping gifts today.  Amanda has a really cute card, for sure!  She's in the "spirit".  Our colors today were Marina Mist with Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze OR Marina Mist with Real Red and Old Olive.  I chose the second one, because it looked more like Christmas to me.  Our twist was to use a Holiday Spirit Sentiment.  I am in the spirit, so I used the single stamp label and put glimmer paper behind it with ribbons under made from Christmas washi tape.  Just put it on cardstock and cut out.  The baby Jesus is from "first Christmas".   Lets go see what "spirit" Helen is in.  I'm sure it's beautiful.  She has such a wonderful spirit herself!    Hope you are enjoying the day.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines-Calypso Coral, Add a Snowflake

Brrr!  It's cold here today!  And so many snowflakes! We didn't get as many as the rest of you, though.  Just an inch.  Yay!  Did you see the gorgeous snowflakes from Amanda's card?  Just beautiful.  Who would have thought these colors could produce such beautiful creations?  Our colors were Calypso Coral with Blushing Bride and Pink Pirouette, OR with chocolate Chip and wild Wasabi.  I used the first choice as you can guess, and We had to add a Snowflake.  These pinks were so close together, it was hard to tell the difference.  But they blend well.  Helen's card is so cute today, that girl has an imagination!  Thanks for visiting, and have a great day.  Carol Smith
