Christmas Epiphany!

Hi!  Every once in a while, my brain actually DOES work!  I had these strips of DSP and the silver embossed snowflake on my workspace, not sure what to make with them, and when my Nov. paper pumpkin kit came in the mail, I knew what I wanted to do with them!  Although the stockings are cute (which was the kit), I would rather do cards, and had no real use for the stockings.  Maybe later use for treats or gift wraps...anyway, I put these two ideas together and came up with these cards! what do ya think?  The little tags  popped when I added the red.  Love 'em.  The bottom picture is just a display I put on my kitchen counter.  thought I would share that.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Daisy Delight and Ribbon of courage

Happy Saturday, people- don't you just love the Daisy Delight set and punch?  Also the DSP to match.  So pretty!  And the ribbon of courage, I first didn't think much of, but I loved the sayings, so I had to get it.  Sometimes, there's only one or two stamps that you really need out of a set, but it's worth it if you need the words.  Right?  This just happened to come together from things setting around after I made the tag.  Cute though, huh?  Let me know what you think.  IF you would like to be able to make these, let me know and I can order them for you.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Casing fun

Hello again, sorry my entries are so sporatic... I am really having a lot of trouble loading pictures onto windows 10- I don't do it enough to remember the process I guess...anyway, these are just some of my ideas coupled with casing that I played with a while  back.  I hope you like them...the Just Breathe ones were super easy and fun.  I used the center of the flower from the daisy stamp set for the dot background, and cut some black leaves from the new dies and glued them over solid leaves.  HOpe you come back.  Carol Smith

Watercolor Wonder Creations

I Love Butterflies!  I have been working with masking of late, it's a lot of fun.  Just stamp off a butterfly for your mask, cut it out and tape it on one already stamped and keep working up.  Add the details later and you have an awesome line of butterflies  Also, you can make 3-D ones,  just tape 3 or 5 of these together, and they make this fan.  I like to do just 3 together for the fronts of cards.  They will spread apart and lay flat for mailing, and they can be fluffed up when opened.  so Cute!  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

April Paper Pumpkin re-makes

I'm back, ladies!  I have a hard time loading my photos onto my computer.  I guess I'm still not in touch with windows 10!  anyway, this is what I did with my paper pumpkin last month.  I saved the black envelopes and cardstock for a Christmas project, and used my black cardstock I have and made flowers I saw someone do (can't remember who it was) on pinterest.  They were created from the butterflies stamp set.  Just simply cut them apart and made petals out of them.  What do ya think?  Great idea, huh?  thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Good morning, I hope your day is blessed with God's faithful Love... These are  just a couple ideas I was playing with lately.  Masking has become a fun thing for me to try.  I cased these, but changed them up a little.  The first one is made with the new Avant stamp set, and the other one with the new doilies dies, and embossing folder.  Hope you like them.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

time spent with a Dear Friend

Hello- this is a good cold day to sit back and reflect on a great time with a very Dear Friend, and upline, Denise F.  I had so much fun, and it was great to be with her after such a long time.  I made her this hanging pouch and filled it with candy for her.  It's just a 12x12 dsp folded in half on the triangle, and then each point folded to the center and finally fold the top down, and it holds itself in shape.  She liked it, and said it was her favorite candy!  :)  The other cards, she had designed for me to make, we did them together. They are sweet, no?  Thanks Denise for the inspiration and fellowship.  Thanks for visiting. Carol Smith
