Sketch Frenzy Friday

Happy Saturday!  Welcome to Sketch Frenzy Friday's new sketch entry.  i love this one.  All I could think of from the sketch was Valentine's Day, and i have a birthday girl for that day, so this is what I made.  Everything is a Stampin Up product, however, they are all retired.   I used things from last year's occasions catolog, the big heart is from the Designer cuts card set, I just punched a scallop border around it.  The background paper is Antique Boutique DSP.  the small hearts are nothing more than the floral fusion sizzlits die that I just cut off 2 petals!  Cool, huh?  Add an old retired ribbon, and it resemeles the sketch.  Hope you like it.  I do.  Let me know, k?  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Welcome to another Red hot Stampers challenge #68.   This is the new christmas paper and it matches some older tan paper. A pretty simple sketch, yet different from most.  I put the new Sale-a-bration stamp embossed in green glitter.  Hope you like this one.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Sketch Frenzy Friday

Merry Christmas everyone!  I really liked this sketch, so I decided to make this cute card.  The ribbons are made from the Deck the Hals fabric, and the baskets are copies from the back of a Christmas Card. I thought it was too cute not to use somewhere.  Hope you like it.  I embossed the white cardstock with the impressions emboss folder in the christmas book.  Hope you like it.  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines - Pool Party - red Hot Stampers Challenge #67

Thanks for blogging with us! You've just come from Amanda's Blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.  She a gifted genius, for sure.  Always has a beautiful card that we all want to case.  This week's color is Pool Party.  I entered this card in 2 challenges.  The other one is www.redhotstampers.blogspot.com.  check them out.  For this week, we had to use either pool party, so saffron, and not quite navy, OR pool party, wild wasabi, and chocolate chip.  I didnt like the latter colors, so i used the first creative combination.   I used the new embossing folder and rubbed a little champagne mist on it and stamped the butterflies in not quite navy using the popillion potpouri and  covered them with glitter glue.  The God is Love circle was done with pool party embossing powder.  Hope you like it. Now go see what Helen has for us.  Her blog is www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  She is so inspiring, I know I will love it. Come back next week, and in the meantime, have a Very Merry Christmas!  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines - Lucky Limeade

Hello everyone!  Welcome from Amanda's  blog at  www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.  I just always love what she does.    She's so creative!    Robbie wanted us to use Lucky Limeade this week, and I chose to use the Riding Hood Red and Perfectly Plum with it.  This was my own mixture of stamps, I just embossed them all in gold and pewter.  So Christmassy and I colored in the ornament and put a little purple bow on.  Let me know if you like it.  Now it's time to go to Helen's blog at www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  She always has the ability to inspire me into casing what she does.  Such talented ladies.  Thanks for blogging with us, and thanks for visiting.  carol Smith

Oh, Come Let Us Adore HIM

Hello!  This one I made for our Church family this year.  I made 44.  And I glittered the star in gold and used the big scallop trimmer for the bottom and embossed the Salutation in gold.  Simple yet subtle.  The stamp was borrowed from my sister.  Hope you like it.  Carol Smith
