Coloring Down the Lines-Melon Mambo & Pretty in Pink

Once again is time for our blog hop.  Welcome, and I know you loved the card that  our creative Amanda made at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.    She is very gifted, isn't she?  I'm always excited to see what everyone makes. This week,  our colors are Melon Mambo & Pretty in pink.  I used that old stamp set "Winter Roses" and I couldn't wait to try the tutorial on stampin connection where she uses aluminum duct tape to emboss and stick on the cards.  It's so cool!  You have to try it!  Anyway, I hope you like it.  Now go to Helen's awesome blog at www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  She is a sweetie, and VERY talented too!  I don't know where she comes up with her ideas.  Well, enjoy and thanks for visiting once again.  Carol Smith

Serene Silhouettes

I cased this from someone. Don't remember who, I apologize, but I thougt it was gorgeous.  It's showing up a little pale, but I just stamped the serene silhouette stamp over top each other, first with crumb cake, and then with white embossing powder.  It makes an elegant get well or sympathy card.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Blooming with Kindness

Hello, I just had to put this on today.  It is so simple to do and I love it done in pool party.  So beautiful, don't you think?  Anyway, thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines-Regal Rose and Rose Red

Hello, ladies.  Welcome to our blog hop. Today's colors are Regal Rose & Rose Red.  Beautiful colors.  You've come from Robbie's blog at www.inkedx2.blogspot.com.  She is the leader of our pack, and I love what she did.  She's extremely talented.  My card is just a simple stamping all over of the set "blooming with kindness" stamped on white cardstock.  Easy Peasy!  But what an impact!  Now go on to Joni's blog, at www.joniinthespotlightstamping.com.  She is going to show us something spectacular also.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

With Sympathy

Hi ladies!  I made a few of these cards I am pretty sure I found on the Stampin Connection, only that was done in green and pink.  Our pastor's father died, so I needed a couple for the family.  Such a dear, sweet man.  I just changed up the color schemes and put on some pearls and sprayed with the champagne glitter mist.  Hope you enjoy.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines- Cajan Craze and Tangerine Tango

Hi Ladies!  Well, we've been through the spectrum of the color wheel, now we are on to a more monochramatic look.  This week was Cajan Craze and Tangerine tango.  A beautiful combination!  I know you liked what you saw at Amanda's blog.  www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.  She always has an inspiring look.  my card is a little weird, I think, but I just used the cajan color on the background and the tangerine on the flower and pinwheel.  the stamp set is an old retired one called "Winter Rose" and the pinwheel is a die from Lil' Inkers.  I hope it makes even a little sense to you.  Now lets see the beautiful card that Helen made.  I LOVE it!  www.bluedhliadesigns.blogspot.com.  Thanks for visiting and hopping with us today.  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines- Summer Starfruit

Welcome!  I feel very blessed to be included in a group of very talented women and thank them for their friendship.  That said, I know you loved Amanda's card today.  www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.  She always has cute cards.  This week, our color was summer starfruit, and I paired it with the Elegant Eggplant and Baja Breeze.  I will admit, I would never put these together, and my mojo was not in it, however I wanted to use this  starfruit DSP.  I love THIS color but my heart was not in it (no pun intended)  Tee Hee. I know that Helen will have a beautiful creation for us, so continue on to her blog.  www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  I love her work, ALWAYS!!  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Red Hot Stampers Challenge #74

Hello, and welcome to the red hot stampers challenge this week.  There are so many wonderful entries, I have trouble picking a favorite!  I did a simple one, as is the sketch, I LOVE ovals, so I kept with the shape.  I used some new sale-abration  things, too.  The large oval is just rubbed with chalk.  Let me know how you feel about it.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Cased

Happy Monday, everyone!  Good game!  Anyway, this card is cased...I am sorry I don't recall who made it, but I just changed out the ribbon.  I think it is so pretty, I just had to make some.  Wanted to share it again.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Sketch Frenzy Friday Challenge

It's another sketch frenzy friday challenge!  I just loved this sketch,  but I think I really blotched it!  First of all, after I loaded it, I noticed that it was vertical, not horizontal!  And my ribbon needs to be bolder, it doesn't show very well.  Anyway, I sorta cased this one because I wanted to use the new dsp.  And I love this color, too.  Let me know...  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith
