Some fun with Paper Pumpkin, Oct. and November

Welcome!  I'm havin fun... my very good friend and upline Denise, loaned me the October paper pumpkin stamps.  These are made from them, except for the mistletoe, which is from the November paper pumpkin.  I was disappointed that they didn't include a mistletoe stamp, so I made my own.  It is shown below the cards.  It turned out looking pretty good, don't ya think?  So let me know what you think of these.  The Hus & Kisses is from the Six Sayings set in the holiday catalog  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

New snowflakes

Hi everyone!  I've been playing with the new compressed paper snowflakes, and I made a tree ornament with them.  Just put a pearl on wire first, then 2 layers of the big flakes, and 3 layers of the other 2 sizes of the snowflakes with a pearl in between.  Easy.   Notice on the cards, the snowman's (retired set) head is adorned with antlers.  I broke a big snowflake :(, so then I saw an antler, and put them on his head.  heehee...  They turned out really cute.  I guess necessity IS the mother of invention.  thanks for visiting. Welcome to my craft room

Hello everyone-  Welcome to my revamped craft room!  The units in the corner were recently given to me by my son.  They were old, brown, and dark- SO, I gave them 2 coats of primer and a coat of paint that is the same as my walls.  They turned out wonderfully!  Let me know what you think.  I loaded them back up with stamps, etc. and now I have some real organization.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Retired, Modified Case

Welcome to yet another rainy day.  Good day to play with paper, right?  Well, this retired stamp set is a winner, and I saw it on Chat Zwelsinski's (hope I spelled her name right) blog, and I just loved it!  BUT I didn't have the stamp set, so I went on Amazon and got one.  I modified it a bit with the doily and the shape of the label.  I hope you like them as much as I do.  Have to figure out what else I can make from this set.   Thanks, Chat, for the inspiration...  Thanks for visiting, and come back again soon.  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines Hop-March 25

Good morning, hoppers!  You've arrived from Amanda's blog www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.  Today's inspiration photo is cheese, and I love all the browns and blacks together, such a neutral palate.  And I love cheese, but My card has nothing to do with cheese.  The colors today are: Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, Basic Black, and Basic Gray.  I love how this stamp set looks. At first I didn't think I would like it, but it has become one of my favorite sets.  I added a little glitter to the butterfly for some bling.  Helen's card, I know is not "cheesy" either, Let's go see what she made.  I know you'll love it.  www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com  Thanks for visiting, and see you next time.  Enjoy the hop.  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines Hop-March 18

Hello, crafty ladies!Amanda is out this week, we'll miss her.    Just coming from Robbie's blog, www.inkedx2.blogspot.com   you know she was on the ball-  Me, however, I am not pleased with mine at all!  Seems like a cop-out.  I LOVE hydrangeas, but there's no excuse for this one.  Anyway, our color palate used Pistachio Pudding, Pear Pizazz, Wild Wasabi,, Mossy Meadow, Basic Gray, and  Wisteria Wonder.  Similar to last week, but with the purple.  I bet Helen did a bang-up job though,  let's go see.  www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com  Enjoy your day, and thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith
