Coloring Down the Lines-Real Red

Whew!  I apologize for almost forgetting to post.  Crazy around here!  Anyway, our colors this week as you know from Amanda's blog www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com (which is gorgeous, by the way)  are Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, and Crumb cake OR Real Red, Early Espresso and Pumpkin Pie.  I chose the first one. I just thought of Christmas even though I don't care for turquoise with red, but here it is.  The dsp helped pull it together.  Don't you love that bow?  Easy! I embossed all my stamps this time and put a little glitter on the ornaments.  Hope you like it.  Go  ahead and see what Helen made for us.  It's always fabulous! www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  Have a great day and thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines-Pumpkin Pie

Hello ladies!  Here we are once again, and as you know, Amanda has outdone herself.  Just beautiful.  www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.  We were to use Pumpkin Pie with either Pacific Point and real Red, OR Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso, and Daffodil Delight.  I chose the last combination, because I just didn't like the other colors together.  And this choice just screamed FALL to me, so it was easy.  I used the new  Truly Grateful stamp set.  Being Grateful is a theme for my church banquet cards.  It's important to remember just how blessed we really are, right?
Now lets' go see what Helen made for us today.  I love her ideas, and can't wait to see it.  Lets go!  www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  Again, thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Invitations

These are just a variation of the pumpkin pie onw.  I made these for our ladies' Fall Banquet invitations.  I kinda like them a little better, just because they look different.  Enjoy and thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines-Pacific Point

Welcome once again on our blog hop with talented ladies such as Amanda.  www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.   She already has this nailed!  We were to use Pacific Point with Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie OR Pacific Point with Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry.  I chose the last one, because I love the razzleberry.  I had NO idea what I wanted to do, so I just laid out my colors and chose some stamps to use.  I used Tea Party and Lovely Romance and this is what came of it all.  I hope you like it.  I am pretty happy with what it became.  I scored the white cardstock before stamping to give it a "tile" look.  Let's so see what Helen created for us today. www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.   I can't wait, as she is a natural with the Wow factor!  Enjoy your day, and thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Swallowtail

I had to case these butterfly cards also.  So beautiful!  Many color options, unlimited occasions too.  They are easy and fun to do.  Just emboss in white and sponge the colors around it and stamp the vines around the outside edge.  Mount onto a color-coordinated cardstock, and done!  Thanks for visiting.   Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines-Old Olive

Wow, it's Wednesday again, everyone!  Time is just flying by.  Today's color is the favorite Old Olive. We could use Pumpkin Pie and Cherry cobbler OR Soft Suede and Crushed curry with it.  I chose the first option.  Because Old Olive is so versatile, we are sure to see gorgeous cards today.  Amanda has already proven that, right?  www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.  So pretty.  I used the stamp set Lovely Romance, and lined up my stamp with the stamp-a-ma-jig.  So cool.  and you know I have to use my ribbons!  I hope you like it and that it challenge you to line up stamp images.  I love what Helen made.  I will have to make those myself.  SOOO clever, that girl!  www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  So go on over and say hi to her.  I hope you enjoy your journey with us today.  Thanks for visiting me.  Carol Smith

Wildflower Meadow

I hope your weekend is going well...It is cooler here today, quite nice, as a matter of fact.  I was just playing around with my wildflower meadow stamp set, as I had a thank you card to send out.  I tweaked it a little by adding vellum flowers from Flower Shop and colored them on the backs by sponging some of the new in colors on.  The green is the pistachio green.  And I put a little crystal in each flower center for some added bling.  Hope you like it as much as the recipient.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith
