Coloring Down the Lines - Calypso Coral

You've just come from Amanda's wonderful blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com.  I know she has a beautiful card for us again... So on to our challenge, we were to use Calypso Coral and I used the sweet set option with riding hood red and basic gray.  My red is used as the outlines and greeting and the rest it obvious.  You can't  tell, but I sprayed it with the champagne mist and put glitter on the leaves.  I can't wait to see what Helen has for us, so come along with me to see!  www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  Hope you are having fun.  Have a great day and thanks for visiting me.  Carol Smith

Deck the Halls Purse!

What do you think of this, ladies?  I finished this purse this morning made from the retired Deck the Halls fabric and it turned out pretty neat!  I took it to town and got a ton of compliments!  I put 3 slip pockets inside and a zippered one on the other side, and a hidden pocket on the outside as well.  It's prettier in real life.  I always try to make a new purse for Black Friday shopping.  Have to look festive, you know  :)  Tee Hee... Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Perfect Plum

This is the card I made for the blog hop...I missed it somehow, but it's just a simple one, I needed a birthday card FAST!!!  So This was just the ticket!  Everyone else's cards were very pretty, as usual.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Weaving Class - Happy Snowman

Happy Thursday to everyone!  I made this happy snowman  last Sat. at a class on weaving.  He is just toooo cute not to share.  This was a very interesting challenge, to say the least, but I got through it.  I love him.  He is my newest addition to my snowman collection.  Thanks for visiting... Coloring Down the Lines - Bashful Blue

Welcome everyone!  I like my Bling!!!  This was a tough one!  But I saw the opportunity for Christmas in this Color combo of Bashful Blue, Rose Red, and Wild Wasabi.  It is pretty self-explanatory, but I had to add my glitter and crystals... hope you like it.  I know that Amanda at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com had a wonderful entry for us to drool over, and so will Helen at www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  Thanks so much for coming along.  Carol Smith
