Coloring Down the Lines
Welcome from Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. I can't wait to see what everyone else does with these beautiful colors! You are in for a treat today. When I saw this blue feather, I immediately thought of birds, so I used the new "Beauty of the Season" set I got just yesterday. I turned it from a cardinal to a blue jay. I made 2 cards, (not showing off, mind you), just having fun with these colors. speaking of color, we used Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Basic Black, Pacific Point, and Tempting Turquoise. I used pearls for the berries. Love how this turned out. The other one, I just inked up my stamp block, and it was ugly until I stamped the birds on, and whalaa! Let's go visit Helen, www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com and see what she made for us. It will not disappoint either. She can always Wow me! Thanks for hopping along, and come back again. Carol Smith

Coloring Down the LinesWelcome to our Wed
Welcome to our Wednesday blog hop! You started with Robbie, and you just came from Amanda's blog atwww.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. You will find lots of beautiful cards today. My card looks different from the inspiration photo, but I assure you, it is in line with colors which are Baked Brown Sugar, Smoky slate (which are the fence) and Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise (flowers) and Pistachio Pudding and Pear Piazazz 9 (leaves). I guess I like it, it's pretty typical. I think it's neat the way you can make all sorts of wood pieces by using different color, all of which look great together. Let's go to Helen's blog. I cant wait to see what she cooked up. Always a treat! www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Thanks for visiting, and come visit me again. Carol Smith

Chopped challenge #2
Welcome everyone! I am doing a challenge posted to facebook that's called Homemade Crafters. This is our second challenge, and it is fun. We were sent the Bubble dsp, the melon mambo ribbon, the jute string, and the 3 candy dots in Old Olive. I thought it looked like baby colors, so this is what I came up with. Let me know how you like it. Cute, huh? Enjoy your Tuesday. Join me tomorrow on another hop. Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines
Good morning Wednesday bloghoppers! Today's colors are beautiful together. Love them. Robbies card is no exception for these colors! Gorgeous...www.inkedx2.blogspot.com. Our colors are: Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, Garden green, wild Wasabi, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party. My blue doesn't show up to do it justice, but it is so pretty. I used the World of Dreams stamp set and added an elegant eggplant bow with a pool party button on it. I added a doily to the back, and there it is. Let me know how you like it. Let's see what Joni made for us today. www.joniinthespotlightstamping.com. I know you'll love it too. thanks for visiting. Enjoy convention, ladies. I wish I were going with you. Carol Smith

Wednesday Hop- Happy 4th of July!
Welcome to our Wednesday blog hop! I hope everyone enjoys their weekend with family and friends! Our theme for today is the 4th, or course, so when I think of that, I think stars and fireworks! These are beautiful colors together, and I can't wait to see what everyone else interprets into their creations. You just saw what Amanda made, and it's a beauty for sure. www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. Our inspiration piece and colors are above. What a great job Robbie did in picking them. Soft sky, Marina Mist, Night of Navy, Real Red, Rose Red, and Sahara Sand. I embossed my sahara sand star in clear powder, and made the rest of them and fussy cut them and put them up on popdots. Very dimensional. Hope you like it. Helen will do a "bang up" job, I know. Lets' go see. :) www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Well, thanks for visiting, and come back next week. Carol Smitih
