Faux Patina, Flower Fancy
Good Monday Morning, ladies! As promised, here is a first faux patina that I finished. I love purple, especially 2-toned, and this just screamed for flowers! I glittered the lettering and outlines of the flowers in purple also. So shiny and elegant... come back for more... Carol Smith (thanks for the patina, Leena)

Delicate Doilies and Nature Walk
Happy Friday, ladies. This is partly cased from somewhere, but I thought it needed some bees. Very cheery. The wings on the bees have glitter. Makes 'em seem 3-d. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy. Carol Smith
Delicate Doilies
Nothing reallly to say on this one, except its really bright and cheery. Thanks for looking and stopping by. Carol Smith
Faux Patina
This is a technique I learned today from another blog... I just LOVE it, it;s so much fun. Any color combination seems to work. Just start out with light colors and sponge (rub) graduating colors on top each other till it suits, and then versamark them and put an embossing powder on, and heat. They are gorgeous! Come back and look for them used in cards... More to come. Carol Smith

Lovely as a Tree- father's Day- sunny morning chat challenge
Happy Father's Day! that is our subject for the Sunny Morning chat challenge. Come on over to Donna's blog at http://www.butternutsagedesigns.blogspot.com/. This is my all-time favorite stamp set. It just never gets old! I decided to be elegant, and emboss everything! I love to emboss. Not always so, but I have found what works for me, I guess. DSP was my inspiration. So I used gold, pewter and black powders, and added 3 brads,, and scalloped punched edges. Enjoy, and thanks for looking. Carol Smith
color blog hop- Real Red
Welcome to my blog for the color blog hop this Wednesday.. You should have just come from Amanda's blog at http://www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com/. Next stop is at Liz's blog at http://www.lizzystamps.wordpress.com/. I chose the Real red, bashful blue, and crumbcake option. The bottom is from creative elements, flowers are artistic etchings, put on top of a doily die. I sponged crumb cake ink on the embossed background. The flowers and Loving Thought are embossed also. Hope you like it. Thanks for looking. Carol Smith
