Coloring Down the Lines Hop-March 11

Welcome to our Wednesday hop!  I'm sure Amanda kicked another beautiful creation out to us, where you've just come from www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com  Our colors today are old Olive, Mossy Meadow, Wild Wasabi, Pistachio Pudding, Smoky Slate, and Very vanilla.  A lot of greens, so I just punched out some blooms and put them on the Bordering Bloom stamp and added a little crystal in the center.  My version of a St patty's day card.  :)  Let's go on over and visit Miss Helen, ok?  www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com  She is very good at using her colors, so I can't wait to see it either.  Enjoy your hop and your day, and thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Happy Icy Wednesday! Did you slip and slide from Amanda's blog?  www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com  No doubt you did.  Our challenge today was to use Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant, Blackberry Bliss, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red and Sahara Sand.  Some real vibrant colors, for sure, but I didn't know how to mix them, so I spied my pack of something borrowed DSP and just simply colored it in, because the background is Sahara sand!  Genius, right?  Well I kinda like it now, though I had my doubts.  I just put some ribbon across and colored up those rosettes.  What do ya think?  Let's slide on over to Helen's blog and see what she did. www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  Pretty, huh?  Well thanks for visiting, and come on back for more.  Carol Smith

Good Morning, ladies!  Are you enjoying your colorhop so far?  Amanda www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com has another wonderful card for us, doesn't she?  Wow!  Our colors today are Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, Calypso Coral, Crisp Canteloupe, and Blushing Bride...I wasn't sure what to do with these, but I had just tried the Bokeh technique, and I wanted to use it.  I love doing that, and it's so easy!  I mixed that with the Blended Bloom stamp, and put a crumb cake bow on it.  Hope you like it.  Give the bokeh a try, it's addicting.  Let's see Helen's entry for today, shall we?  Let's go...www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com  Thanks for visiting, and come back again.  Carol Smith

Good morning, ladies!  I think everyone is on board today!  I know that Amanda is,www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com her card is so pretty.  Our colors today are Blushing Bride, Blackberry Bliss, Early Espresso, Mossy meadow, Sahara Sand, and Pistachio Pudding.  I tried to mimick the inspiration photo using the Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set and the sentiment is from memorable moments.  It turned out prettier than I thought it would, hope you like it.   Helen, www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com  I know will make good use of her colors, she's a natural, always making beautiful cards.  Come back again, and thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith

Color Hop-Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day, everyone!  Love is in the air this week, and I'm feelin' it from Amanda's blog too.  www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com  I'm glad she's back with us again,  Our colors this week are Sahara Sand,  Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo, Real Red, cherry cobbler, and  Soft Suede.  Theyr'e all in there, believe it or not, I just gathered a bunch of hearts and bordered the card with them, and used some grunge dots to fill in.  Pretty happy with it.   Let's go see if Joni has the same feeling.  www.joniinthespotlightstamping,blogspot.com        Let us all know what you think.  Thanks for visiting.  Carol Smith
