Coloring Down the Lines - Not Quite Navy
Welcome in from Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. I know she always has a beautiful creation. This week's color is Not Quite navy- I chose the first color combination with pumpkin pie and garden green.
When I got all my colors pulled out, thankfully a lightbulb went on and i found my new Full of Blessings stamp set. It's a little hard to tell the difference between the green and navy, but the pumpkin makes these wreaths pop! I Love it!! It reminds me of a wallpaper pattern. And I love this method of 3-step stamping. You'll be seeing a lot more of them in the future from me. Enjoy... and now go on to Helen's fabulous idea that she made for us. www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. She knows how to inspire me, for sure! Thanks for visiting. CarolSmith I think this is a unique look for sure.

Winter Memories
Enjoy your Wednesday, everyone. Thanks for dropping by... Isn't this just rich, and gorgeous? I love it. Brings back memories, for sure. I used winter memories' skates, sponged a little crumb cake over them, and added some gold glitter glue on the blades. Emboss with the oval folder and cut out with some postage edge scissors. Fasten over top the new embossed testured impressions folder and add a gold bow. WOW! Thanks for looking. Carol Smith
Morning Chat Challenge - Cupcakes!
Bling, bling, bling! Eat something cute. Join us this week in our Morning chat challenge at www.butternutsagedesigns.blogspot.com. Our challenge this time was to make cupcakes. (Not the edible kind). I don't have cupcake stamps, persay so I improvised... I used distressed dots for my background in crumb cake- I crimped my brown paper for the cup and used the end of an Oval Accent Bigz die for the icing. Put some colored beads on and fill in the "icing" with glitter. Cute. Hope you like it. Thanks for visiting. Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines - Night of Navy
You've just arrived here from Amanda's wonderful blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. This week we used Night of Navy with either pumpkin pie and cherry cobbler, or Old Olive and Daffodill Delight. I used the 2nd one, but not sure how i feel about this one. I just stamped it on the dsp and then colored them in with my markers and outlined in night of navy ink with my blender pen. Let me know what you think, k? Now go for some more inspiration in Helen's blog at www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. She always has a way of inspiring me. Enjoy and thanks for visiting. Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines - Elegant Eggplant
I can't believe it's time for our color blog hop already! My, how time gets away... You have just been at Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. I know you loved every bit of her blog. She's very gifted. This week we were to use elegant Eggplant with either more mustard and garden green, OR melon mambo and river rock. I used the first combination, and this is what I made. I used the Summer Silhouettes set. I stamped it on watercolor paper which makes it look a little muted, but I think I like it that way. I embossed the background with the fancy fan folder and added a bow in elegant eggplant also. Be sure to let me know what you think! Now go to our new friend Helen's blog at www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. She has so many wonderful inspiring ideas, I'm sure you'll agree. Thanks for visiting our blogs. Carol Smith

Morning Chat Challenge-waterfall card
Welcome to Donna's morning chat challenge at www.butternutsagedesigns.blogspot.com , where we were to make a card with moving parts. I almost didn't play, but I did a lot of research and found this pattern for the waterfall card. I never heard of this, let alone made one, so it Was a definite challenge. But it was worth it, because it stretched my inspiration SOO much! Turned out really nice, and it's not that hard. I used the papaya collage set. Hope you like it. Carol Smith
I'm gonna make some more!! :)

Coloring down the lines - Riding Hood Red
Once again, we have an exciting lineup for our Coloring down the lines bloghop. You've just seen Amanda's creation which I can't wait to see myself. Her blog is www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. This week we had to use Riding Hood Red. I chose to use it with basic gray and more mustard. I embossed the medallion stamp and made a rosette with the clear button in the center. I sponged more mustard over top and around the edges and added the bird from nature walk. I hope you like it. Now go to Liz's blog at www.lizzystamps.wordpress.com. She always has a really nice product too. Thanks for blogging with us. Carol Smith

Stippled Blossoms
Just a couple entries today... This card turned out so feminine. Perfect for a friend from school days whos battling illness. i hope it makes her feel better. It's simply the outline rose from stippled blossoms in riding hood red, and leaves are old olive. I put the top through the BS with the heart border folder and punched the bottom. Beautiful and simple. Thanks for visiting today. Carol Smith
Mixed Bunch
This card is cased from one i received in the mail from a friend. I changed the leaves and added some bling, but it's the same beauty! Thanks for visiting. Carol Smith
