Color Hop-January 28
Happy Wednesday to you! Our Hop list is pretty short today, so bear with us...You've just come from Robbie's site. As you probably know, she is our leader and begins this journey. www.inkedx2.blogspot.com The colors she gave us today are Basic gray, Crisp Cantaloupe, Melon Mambo, Early Espresso, Brown Sugar and Sahara Sand. My card is pretty bland and predictible, since I just couldn't come up with something new and exciting for you. My mojo has gone out into the cold with all the snow, I guess. I am sure Joni has no problem with an idea, so let's go see what she made. www.joniinthespotlightstamping.blogspot.com Come back again, and enjoy your day. Thanks for visiting. Carol Smith

Color Hop for January 14
Good morning, everyone! At last, it's starting to feel a little more like a normal winter around here. It's into the 30's now! www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com Coming from Amanda's blog, I'll bet you feel warmer, too as she always makes something that warms my heart. Our colors for today are Whisper White, Pear Pizazz, Early Espresso, Real Red, Calypso Coral, and Crumb Cake. I've been making Valentine cards lately, so I had that in mind for this card. Pretty simple, but it's cute, too. The background for the tree is that new specialty DSP from sale-a-bration. Enjoy the rest of the hop, starting with Helen's Hot entry. www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Her cards always sizzle... Hope you are having fun. Come on back, and thanks for visiting. Carol Smith

Color Blog Hop for January 7
What a cold beginning to 2015! BRRRR! These colors are pretty together, but they are cold colors, like our weather. I wonder if Robbie made a wintery card for us, you just came from there. www.inkedx2.blogspot.com. Our color palette consists of Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray, and Basic Black. I didn't know what I wanted to do, but I had a card I wanted to make a friend that had a Birthday and Aniversary all this week, so I went to my Wonderous Wreath set and made a shimmery wreath with crystals for the berries. Hope she likes it as much as I hope you do. I'm also anxious to see what Helen did. Let's go see. www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com I love seeing what she comes up with, I don't know how she does it. Enjoy your hop on through, and thanks for visiting. Carol Smith
Playing with new toys
Good morning, I posted some cads that I've been playing with some of my new stamps.
I just love the Lotus stamp. It is pretty in any color, especially when it is applied with all 3 steps. I also am having lots of fun with the Whispering tree stamp set. This can be used all year long! Any occasion, and it's also male friendly. That's a plus, because it's hard to find ways to make masculine cards. The Happy Easter stamp speaks for itself, you can color it any way you like. Had to share these. I have lots more to play with too. Come back tomorrow, and see our color hop. Thanks for visiting.
