Coloring Down the Lines-Raspberry Ripple

Happy Wednesday, everyone and welcome to our blog hop, coloring down the lines.  You have arrived from amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com where I am sure was a very inspiring card.  She does such nice work, doesn't she?  Our color this week was Raspberry Ripple, and I paired it with the Old Olive and Pretty in Pink (the creative combo). I used my raspberry ripple ribbon and the new sale-a-bration set (madison ave.) with the heart from the the hearts a flutter.   And I also used for my background the emboss folder "vine street."  Hope you like it, I do.  I've made quite a few for church people for cheering up this Valentines Day.  Now go to our very own Helen's blog at www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com.  She will dazzle us too!  Always has something I love.  Thanks for visiting...Carol Smith  Happy blogging!!

Coloring down the Lines - Primrose Petals

Hello again, ladies! You have just come from Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. I know she has a beautiful card for us, as she always does, so talented, that girl. This week we used Primrose Petals with either summer starfruitand basic gray OR primrose petals, S Saffron and Baja Breeze. I chose the second combo, and this is what came from my desktop. I had to use roses, No pun intended, so I laid everything out that was feminine, and I think it turned out pretty nice. Let me know. Now you can go directly to Helen's blog. She's a genius, for sure. I love her style. her address is www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Enjoy and thanks for visiting. Carol Smith

Red Hot Stampers challenge #72

Hello, everyone! It's red hot stamper time!! There's lots of great entries, and this is my version. It was a simple sketch, so I kept it simple also. I used thte glitter paper and put it through my crimper, and added 3 green brads and made an Old Olive border with the punch, and made my punched circle with the new Sale-a-bration Bloomin Marvelous set. . The salutation is embossed in pewter. Give your feedback, I can take it! Thanks for visiting...Carol Smith

Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge #71

I hope you are enjoying all the beautiful entries for this challenge. I just kept everything monochromatic and wanted something feminine, so this is what came together on my workspace! I just dry embossed the circles and added the doily behind it all for some pop, and used the little flower and LOVE ticket from the Artisan Embellishment Kit in the spring catty. How do you feel about this one? Thanks for visiting... Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines - Midnight Muse

div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It's Wednesday already! Where does the time go? You've just been at the beginning of our blog hop with Robbie.www.inkedx2.blogspot.com. She is the very gifted lady who decides our colors. This week she had us use Midnight Muse with More Mustard and Rich Razzleberry (which I chose) OR Midnight muse with Bashful Blue and Cherry Cobbler. I had some trouble thinking what I wanted to do with it, but I played with the new stamps I just received, and came up with the flowers of Secret garden and sale-a-bration stamps for my Hello. The buttons on the flowers were tied with jute(my upline would SKIN me if I didn't put a tie on my buttons)! I just pierced around the salutation and I was done. Hope you like it. Now it's time to see Helen's beautiful creation that she always has. Can't wait to see it myself! Her blog is www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Go and enjoy the rest of the hop.
