Coloring Down the Lines-Marina Mist
I hope everyone is ready for the big day! I am, still have to finish wrapping gifts today. Amanda has a really cute card, for sure! She's in the "spirit". www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. Our colors today were Marina Mist with Crumb Cake and Cajun Craze OR Marina Mist with Real Red and Old Olive. I chose the second one, because it looked more like Christmas to me. Our twist was to use a Holiday Spirit Sentiment. I am in the spirit, so I used the single stamp label and put glimmer paper behind it with ribbons under made from Christmas washi tape. Just put it on cardstock and cut out. The baby Jesus is from "first Christmas". Lets go see what "spirit" Helen is in. I'm sure it's beautiful. She has such a wonderful spirit herself! www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Hope you are enjoying the day. Thanks for visiting. Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines-Calypso Coral, Add a Snowflake
Brrr! It's cold here today! And so many snowflakes! We didn't get as many as the rest of you, though. Just an inch. Yay! Did you see the gorgeous snowflakes from Amanda's card? www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. Just beautiful. Who would have thought these colors could produce such beautiful creations? Our colors were Calypso Coral with Blushing Bride and Pink Pirouette, OR with chocolate Chip and wild Wasabi. I used the first choice as you can guess, and We had to add a Snowflake. These pinks were so close together, it was hard to tell the difference. But they blend well. Helen's card is so cute today, that girl has an imagination! www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Thanks for visiting, and have a great day. Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines-Blushing Bride
It's December already? Where DOES the time go! I know you have enjoyed Amanda's card, as she always does a super job creating. www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. Today's colors are Blushing Bride with Early Espresso and Pear Pizazz OR Blushing Bride, Perfect Plum and Sahara Sand. I chose the latter, because I don't have espresso. It is a little pale, but I embossed everything in sahara sand, even the snowflakes. You can tell that a little at the tips. And the let it snow is perfect plum. I chose the stamps from "Best of Snow". Our "Twist" was to add lace. My little brads are the candy dots in sahara sand also. Hope you like it. Lets go see what Helen made. She never has a problem coming up with something I love! (SO talented)! www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Thanks for visiting. Carol Smith

Son's Birthday
I made this card for my son's birthday this year. He is an excellent guitar player and can even make guitars by hand. Very talented guy. Looks pretty real, doesn't it? I saw this somewhere but don't know any more who made it. What do ya think? Thanks for visiting. Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines-Rose Red
It's another Wednesday blog hop, and this week you've come straight from Robbie's site at www.inkedx2.blogspot.com. She's a very busy woman, and she still cranks out so many beautiful cards! Today's is no exception. I don't know how she does it...Our colors this week are Rose Red with Soft Suede and Marina Mist OR Rose Red with Wisteria Wonder and Garden Green. And the side kick is to use a Christmas Theme. I thought these were odd colors for Christmas, and I struggled with an idea. But this poinsettia is so versatile, it looks good in any color, so I went with that. I just embossed everything in white, and fussy cut the flower and colored it in with my colors. Very simple. Let's see what Helen made for us today. www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. I always love what she makes, I can't wait to see. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving, everyone, and come back next week. Thanks for visiting. Carol Smith

Coloring down the lines-Perfect Plum
Welcome to our blog hop this Fall week from Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. Her card is wonderful, wish I had thought of that! Our colors this week were perfect plum with marina mist and rose red OR perfect plum with early espresso and whisper white. I chose the first one, and our twist was to use a "NEW TO YOU" technique. I did the magic tape technique. I've seen it done a hundred times, but never actually tried it. I found it messy and I'm really not that good at it, but here it is. I would use pale colors if I do it again, such as the new in-colors. Anyway, I just embossed my stamp set "summer delights" on it in black, and card done. Lets' go see what Helen made, I know it will inspire us to try her technique. www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Come back next week to see what's up! Thanks for visiting and have a great day! Coloring Down the lines-Island Indigo
Hello and Happy Wednesday, ladies! Just coming from Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com, you already saw her beautiful leaf card and know our color scheme. She did an awesome job! We used Island Indigo with Rose Red and Garden green, OR island indigo with Pool party and calypso coral (which I used since I love those 2 blues together)! AND we added a feature to our colors by using a leaf on our cards. I used the leaf from Best of Autumn, and the fancy print emboss folder with the chalktalk die. Kept it simple, so the colors popped. Hope you like it. Let's feast our eyes on what Helen made, I saw it and love it, as usual. What a sweet and talented person she is... lets' go- www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Tune in next week to see our next twist. Thanks for visiting, Carol Smith
