I hope you are having fun traveling through our blogs. I'm sure coming from Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com, that she had something spectacular again... she always does! This week, we are doing Certainly Celery as our main color, and I chose to put Marina Mist and Whisperwhite with it. I pulled this retired set from my shelf to make a card for my daughter and son-in-law for their Anniversary. Pretty simple, but very pretty, I think. I added a little bling by putting crystals on it. Continue on to Helen's blog at www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Helen in also fun to watch. You can always get some great inspiration from her. Join us again next week, and join in the chat every weekday at 10:00 at www.butternutsagedesigns.blogspot.com. Our group of girls is really growing and we talk about everything. Thanks for visiting. Coloring Down the Lines - So Saffron
Happy blogging today, ladies! I can guarantee that since you've come from Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com, that you're already inspired... this weeks color is So Saffron, and I used Riding Hood Red and Soft Suede with it. I just sponged soft suede on my embossing folder, and ran the wood background folder through it, and mounted that on soft suede also. I stamped an ornament keepsake in riding hood red, and spread on some crystal effects, which finished that off. Made a tag and mounted that on a snowflake. I thnk it turned out pretty neat! Now you can continue on to Helen's blog at www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. I love to see what she comes up with this week, as I think these colors are really nice together. Hope you are enjoying the ride... Thanks for looking. Carol smith
Blooming with Kindness
These are cute! I used the blooming withkindness stamp and embossed it in white, and sponged the color over it. I also used the flourish designer frames to highlight my salutations...I made these for a swap for our downline meeting tomorrow. Hope you like them. Thanks for looking. Carol Smith
Etruscan Elegance
This is cased from somewhere, cant remember where, but I just wanted to see this sstamped on something. I just used midnight muse and scallop punched the tops and added ribbon. CUTE!! They make great thank you stationery. Thanks for looking... Carol Smith

Coloring Down the Lines - Pink Pierouette
Time for another blog hop! My goodness, the time flies! You should have come from Amanda's blog at www.ourcraftyplaydate.blogspot.com. Love to see what she comes up with. This weeks color is pink pierouette ( hope I spelled that right) and I used the sweet set, which includes always artichoke and sahara sand. I just stamped the main part on the pink and put it on the always artichoke background. I punched the edge with the scallop punch and used everything Eleanor for the flower, and I put glitter glue on that and added a pin to it. I hope you like it. I know I'll like what Helen makes, so go on over to her blog at www.bluedahliadesigns.blogspot.com. Enjoy- Carol Smith

Morning Chat Challenge - homemade DSP
Come and join us for our Morning Chat Challenges at www.butternutsagedesigns.blogspot.com. This was a HARD one for me this time. I racked my brain, and racked my brain...well, you get the idea. I finally decided on colors, here they are: tempting turquoise
midnight muse
garden green
lucky limeade
rich razzleberry &
pewter embossing powder.
Wow. well, I made a stencil using this little shaped square die and sponged my colors in them. Then I sponged the darker colors over that, and then I was stuck for a while. I started to see nothing but a peacock, so I got my Fine Feathers stamp set out and embossed the peacock feather in pewter and colored in the centers first and then used razzleberry to finish them out. Add a crystal to each one, and done. I'm still not sure how I feel about this one. Thanks for visiting us. Join in. Carol Smith ps We sure do have lots of fun in our chats together. Tee Hee :)
